So i am pretty excited because Brea is finally getting the guts to take off on her own. This weekend we went to St George and she started balancing a little bit on her own and then taking a step or two to me and then falling. Tonight, Lindy came over with Blake and we had them both walking back and forth between us and they were both doing so good. Brea took five steps and Blake took seven. We were pretty proud mothers. I think they inspire each other because they were both doing so good!!!! Thanks for the help Blakey!!! So as i said we went to St George this week and had such a blast with all our friends. Justin did his Triathlon and did awesome and he felt really good about how he did. It was a lot of fun to follow him and see him finish!! But now he has the itch to keep doing them. Its fun to just be with friends and hang out though and Brea got to play with so many friends down there and had a blast. I think watching Baby Steele cruise around, got her wanting to start off walking on her own. Brea loved pushing all the babies around in her little car. She just pushed them all around the room and they loved it! Brea starting doing "So big" and throwing her hands in there and did it all weekend, and she also started a scowling face that she does to everyone. I don't know where she got it from, but she has like a permanent scowl this weekend, kind of funny!! I really cannot keep up with all the words she is saying now, because she says too many and says a new one everyday, she really listens to every word i say, i better be careful now!!!! Anyways, we had a blast and now i am sad to be home and back to work again!!! Party over!!! Hopefully our next trip won't be too far off!!

Brea's birthday party was so much fun!! We had lots of friends, family, & neighbors to celebrate. My sister inlaw made the cutest strawberry shortcake cake and Brea loved eating it, and so did all of us. They are the yummiest cakes!! Brea got so many toys, and i don't know where to put them all. She loves playing with them all. Thankyou to all those who came and celebrated with us!! Brea also had her one year appointment, which was not any fun. I liked the nine month appointment where there are no shots. Her stats are as follows

Weight: 17lbs 6oz 5%
Height: 28 1/2 inches 31%
Head Circ: 17.8 inches 55%

So she is a little shrimp and still has to sit in the backward facing carseat for a while. Oh well, what do you do. I feed her all the time and she eats a ton, but she is still little. Brea really says a new word every day, it is so much fun. She will be playing with her toys and they will say a color or a number and she will repeat them, like "blue" or "four". The other morning she kept saying "love you" to me, it was so cute. And sometimes when you pass a ball back and forth to her and say thankyou, she repeats you and says "thankyou". She is such a smart little girl and i love this stage and all the learning. So besides celebrating birthdays, we have been finishing our basement, and it is finally done!! We are excited, or should i say, Justin is excited. He got his TV and couches down there and now that is where he sits. I had to wake him up last night on the couch. It is fun for Brea to. We built a cute little door and windows under the stairs and she loves to go in there and peek through the windows and play peek a boo. Now we have a place for all her toys!! Brea is getting better with walking, i am thinking in the next couple weeks maybe. We will see. She walks all along the walls and furniture and will balance a little. She walks holding on to one hand, but she is still too scared to do it on her own.
We also did the Susan G Komen run, which ended up being more of a walk, but thats okay. Justins company did some advertising for it, so we decided to be apart of it. It was fun!! I also got to celebrate my second mothers day this year, which is always special. Just had a cute little poem for me from Brea, it was sweet. Well that is the latest in the Wilde family!!!

One year ago on May 3 i gave birth to a little 5 lbs 11oz tiny baby girl!!!
My little baby girl is all grown up!!! Brea turns one today and i can not believe how fast the time has gone. I have been looking back through her pictures and realized that she is turning in to a little girl and is not a baby anymore!! Its a sad feeling to see her grow up so fast. I just want to freeze time and keep her this way forever. But on the other hand, i love to see her grow and learn. I swear she learns a new word everyday. She tries to say Chaco now, and tries to say please by saying "pee pee". She has got "night night" "dada" "mama" "Sockies" and "hi" down. Its funny how fast she picks up on things i do and say. She is very observant. She copies almost any action i try and get her to do. She is so funny!! She is getting so good at pushing her stroller all around the room and cruising along the furniture. Now she just needs to gain the confidence to do it on her own. I could write all the things i love about her, but there are just too many things i love about my baby girl and about why i love being her mommy. We have so much fun together and i am excited to have another fun filled year ahead of us!!!
