RSV-A Complete Nightmare!!!

First day home from the hospital!!

Finally home!! Although followed by oxygen! Don't judge me by this pic, eight days in a hospital does not do anyone any favors!!

Harlee was so funny and kept taking her oxygen out and sucking on it!!

Car ride home from the hospital!

Chilling with Daddy!!

Such a rough time and so sad!!

I never want to see her like this again!!

So as i said in my post before, we had waited to bless little Harlee in hopes of avoiding RSV, but four days after being blessed, Harlee was admitted to the hospital!! I had no idea what we were in for. I knew she did not look good and she was not eating and having such a hard time breathing, but i had no idea we were only at the beginning of the awful eight days ahead!!! It really was the worst thing i have gone through in my life. There is nothing more helpless feeling than watching your sweet baby go through so much and suffer!! It broke my heart everyday to be in there with her and watch them suction her and stick tubes down her throat and stick her over and over with needles and IV's. Having to hold her down while they try over and over to start an IV in her scalp and every where else, nine times total. It was torture!!! I would just cry everyday!! At times i would feel like i should be grateful that this was only temporary and that she would get through this, especially being at Primary's, but then i decided it does not matter what sickness a child has, it is still hard to go through watching your child suffer. This truly was a difficult time, but i am happy to say Harlee is doing so good!! My heart goes out to the mothers whose children are up at Primary's long term, i can only imagine what they are going through!!! After a long eight days in the hospital we were able to come home with Harlee on Oxygen for ten days, and now as of last monday she has been doing so well!!!! Every day i was in there i was reminding myself how grateful i need to be to just be a mom at home with healthy children. I swear i will never take another day for granted, even if my day consisted of staying in my sweats, cleaning, and watching Mickey Mouse for the twentieth time that day!!! I love my girls and i am so grateful i have them home and healthy again and thank God every day for that!!! I hope that we are healthy around here from now on. I am so grateful for all the help, love, and support we received while going through it all. We have so many amazing friends and family!!

We decided to wait a while to bless Harlee in hopes of avoiding any sickness (RSV) out there. She was 13 weeks old when we finally blessed in our home. It turned out to be such a special day and had family and friends there to support us. Harlee was so beautiful in her blessing dress and her daddy did such a good job of blessing her!!! A few days before that i got to go to the last Jazz game, thanks to Lindy, and have fun GNO with my old buddies. I need to do that more often. We had a blast and pretty much laughed all night!!! Girl time is definitely needed and appreciated when you are a mom that does not get out much for yourself!!!

The Not so Exciting Blog!!!! : )

Who knew wearing my shoes around the house could be so fun!!

Remember when sliding down the slide was the funnest thing ever!! Well it is for Brea, arguably with the Swing!!

Doesn't get much better than this little adorable face!!

These kind of pics are taken on a daily basis and sent to daddy's phone!! Although we may look rugged, daddy appreciates them!!

One of the first warm days this spring and out for a little backyard campfire!!!

So i realize that my blog may not be the most exciting thing in the whole world and i may not be the best writer and poet in the world, infact i actually suck at writing. But my blog is not about being the best writer, it's about putting fun pictures up for those who actually care about checking in every once in a while. I have talked about this with my good old friend numerous times and have decided that i am just me!!!!! I am a busy mom of two that absolutely has NO TIME to update my blog everyday and especially does not have time to worry about what i am writing, unless i have lucked out and have a spare second like this morning to update a bit. I am either working all night long, or all evening when my husband is home. And when i am not working i am trying to spend every spare second with my girls and enjoy the few minutes of the week i have of being with my husband!!! Life is fun and i do love my life and i promise we do fun things, i just don't have time to write about it everyday!!! So i am actually quite proud of myself for rolling out of bed this morning and motivating myself to put a few things up. I really do wish i had the time to make this a more exciting blog, but the truth is i am spending my time living my everyday life which includes the six or so piles of dirty laundry laying around my house, not sure which is clean or dirty anymore!!! And being the perfectionist i am i have tried to tell myself everyday that it is okay to have a dirty home every now and then, or maybe everyday as of late, but i have healthy girls right now that i can play with and that is way more exciting to spend my time playing with them, then to clean all day!!! So there ya go, i have turned into the typical house wife and working mommy of two and i love it!! Just don't ask me on a bad day!!!! Lots of love!!!

Starting the Long Process of Updating!!!

I know i am clear back in March with the pictures, but i got to start some where right!!! My goal this week is try and get this little blog updated, so no body has to look at the old pics anymore. I am actually quite sick of looking at my post baby fat face!!!! So i will do my best to keep at it and get updated to May because we have had a lot of fun and not so fun things going on the past few months. So stay tuned for a Wilde family forecast!!! PS, i did have a fabulous birthday and a day all to myself thanks to my Hubby surprising me and taking work off to watch the kiddos. That makes for one happy wife!!! And with the help of Lindy, he gave me the most amazing necklace!!! Turning 27 turned out to be a great day and i could not have asked for more!!
