One year ago on May 3 i gave birth to a little 5 lbs 11oz tiny baby girl!!!
My little baby girl is all grown up!!! Brea turns one today and i can not believe how fast the time has gone. I have been looking back through her pictures and realized that she is turning in to a little girl and is not a baby anymore!! Its a sad feeling to see her grow up so fast. I just want to freeze time and keep her this way forever. But on the other hand, i love to see her grow and learn. I swear she learns a new word everyday. She tries to say Chaco now, and tries to say please by saying "pee pee". She has got "night night" "dada" "mama" "Sockies" and "hi" down. Its funny how fast she picks up on things i do and say. She is very observant. She copies almost any action i try and get her to do. She is so funny!! She is getting so good at pushing her stroller all around the room and cruising along the furniture. Now she just needs to gain the confidence to do it on her own. I could write all the things i love about her, but there are just too many things i love about my baby girl and about why i love being her mommy. We have so much fun together and i am excited to have another fun filled year ahead of us!!!

I love that Brea is getting older and more independent and learning new things everyday, but what i don't love is the stress that comes with it. SHE IS IN TO EVERYTHING!!! She will not sit still. She has to stand up to everything and open everything and pull on everything and stick everything into her mouth. She want to be down on the ground so she can take off crawling off somewhere. We have to be so careful about what is on the floor. Tonight we had a scare. We were sitting on the floor with her playing with her big bunny that Grandma gave her. My mom had a ribbon around the neck with little hard stickers on it that spelled her name. Well Justin was on the phone and i was looking at the camera and Brea was just playing between us and all of sudden she starts choking. I grabbed and had no idea what she could possible be choking on. I looked at the bunny and the "R" and "E" in BREA was missing off the bunny. I picked her up and started doing back thrusts and was freaking out. She just kept choking. So i stuck my finger in her mouth and felt the stickers in the back of her throat and got them to come out. I was so scared!!! I hate having to deal with that. We are so careful and she still finds stuff to shove in her mouth! Besides being little miss explorer she is learning more and more everyday. She likes to cruise along the couch and gets a little daring and crosses from the ottoman to the couch. She started climbing up the stairs and she loves to push her little stroller around the room. Every day she has a new bruise on her forehead, but i don't know how to prevent it, she just falls every five seconds. You would think she would learn and not do it again, but she stands right back up and does the same thing. She is so funny and just laughs all the time. Her smile is the sweetest thing and she is such a happy baby. I could not ask for a better baby. We have so much fun together!! Brea's hair is growing so fast and i love it. I can pull it in to piggy tails now and on top of her head and she looks so adorable!! I love having a girl!! I can not believe she is almost one!! This year went so fast and my baby is growing up so fast!! It is sad, but i love seeing her grow!! She got her eighth tooth in so now she has four on top and four on bottom. Her new favorite treat is graham crackers thanks to Grandma Wilde. She loves them!! Well, we had a fun Easter. Holidays are so much more fun with Brea around. She looked so cute and she loved her Easter Basket and loved playing with the eggs she found on the Easter egg hunt. Here are some pics of the last few weeks!!
